Project cornerstones:
- Treatment of drinking water and water distribution at public standpipes
- Supply of several standpipes from one central water treatment plant per location
- Dispensing profile: credit on NFC cards
- Central monitoring to record all deliveries and monitor the systems
- Networking of the taps in the field with LoRa, connection of the local networks via iSAtech Radio Gateway using GSM/LTE
- Energy supply: solar/battery

Example of the small town of Dedougou in Burkina Faso:
Around 10,000 people in the region benefit from clean drinking water. In the drinking water network consisting of three kilometers of pipes, up to 40,000 liters of contaminated groundwater are purified daily and distributed to the decentralized standpipes.
